We’re kicking off our newest national campaign to stop the destruction of Indonesia’s rainforests for palm oil with a month of guerilla stickering actions.
From now through the end of May, RAN’s palm oil activists all over the US (you!) will infiltrate local grocery stores, corner stores, snack bars and anywhere that snack foods are sold and stick “WARNING: This Snack May Cause Orangutan Extinction” stickers on snack products containing palm oil.
On the campaign front, we've just sent letters to 20 of the leading snack food companies—makers of some of the most popular brand name products in America, alerting them that the palm oil in their products may be driving orangutan extinction and rainforest destruction.
Take action today to build pressure on snack food companies and to get your community talking about how they can do something about the problems with the palm oil in their snack food.
